TalkTalk Group was formally a wholly owned division of The Carphone Warehouse Group PLC. On 29th March 2010 the companies demerged.
TalkTalk Group has over 4 million residential and 200,000 business customers and is the biggest provider of broadband to Britain’s homes using the country’s biggest Next Generation Network.
TalkTalk Group comprises:
- TalkTalk Residential which provides broadband and phone lines to residential customers under the TalkTalk, AOL Broadband and Tiscali brands.
- Opal is the business to business part of TalkTalk Group.
- TalkTalk Technology is the network and information systems division which is responsible for developing next generation technologies across the TalkTalk Group.
